What to do on a Cold Winter Saturday?

Bowling! Grab some friends and head down to the bowling alley.

Game or Sport? The debate goes on.

All I know is I continue to be the most inconsistent bowler I've ever met. I can get three strikes in a row and then my streek is over and I'm hitting gutters or one or two pins at a time...and it makes my thumb hurt, so one game is enough for me (maybe two on a good day). I'm a very weak bowler I guess.

Bowling is a chance for the kiddos to pick up some cash...for most games we offer 50 cents for a spare and $1 for a strike - we use to offer $5 reward to those kids who get a higher score than Steve and I, but that offer isn't always available (due to a weak economy:) hee hee.

The kids end up leaving the game with a smile and some small bills and they are wondering if we can stop at the dollar store on the way home! Ohhh bowling...final words...don't forget to scrub and sanitize your hands!
